This view is...monumental

Had a wonderful honeymoon down in SoCal, where we paid visit to Joshua Tree Ntl Park. Melissa did have strep throat the entire time, but that didn’t stop her from frolicking down empty highways and climbing on rock pillars. We enjoyed LA, but feel we’re better fit for the Palm Springs retirement life. We can see ourselves dwelling here one day with a country club membership and a walker.

I love my hometown, which is why I’m posting this PSA.

Thankful that the Yellowstone caldera didn’t erupt into a catastrophic inferno during our all-American road trip. The kiddos had a blast seeing the geology sites, but they especially loved the pork buns we ate along the way. Glad I could reconnect with my kids before they started school this past fall. Melissa started grade 2, Holly grade 4, and Jamie in HS now. Nothing but love for my children. Swipe to the end of this series to see some wholesome family content
